How wonderful that her home is preserved! Her books were a big part of growing up when I was a kid in the 70s!

This is the ‘Little House on the Prarie’ author isn’t it.

That program used to be on all the time when I was a kid…..

I remember the Little House on the Prairie being on. It’s good that the house has been preserved. Happy WW

I love old houses especially if they are left intact and then preserved. I would like to visit Antarctica and see some of explorer’s expeditions abandoned cabins. I’ve seen these programs on PBS and discovery channel – when we had cable.
Anyway my WW is of just an old discarded milk-crate from a logging operation. This is from a trip i took to Lake Superior Provincial Park in 1996. No animals in this shot it’s to bad but the frames before i have a fool-hen on her nest.

  24. Isabelle aka Tricotine

    Great entry! :-)

I got to visit Laura’s house in Iowa. The place they moved to when they had to leave their regular house.

It is a museum now, and everything inside is still set as it was supposed to be when they lived there. Very tiny house for sure…

    Happy WW!
    Mine is up at Tricotine
