A Rather Lovely InheritanceA Rather Lovely Inheritance

Penny Nichols, who hates her name, seems at first to be a somewhat frothy heroine - she works as a film researcher, and tends to let herself be walked upon. Things change, however, when she’s interruped on a shoot in France to dash across the channel and be present at the reading of a favorite aunt’s will.

Not only does Penny inherit a great London apartment, but she also reconnects with her cousin Jeremy, far enough removed in blood that the romantic sparks between them aren’t a cause for concern, interesting enough to ally with when sparks of a different sort being to fly.

What begins as a gentle character piece ends as a satisfying romp through Europe that includes vintage cars, art thieves, and great clothes.
