Book Shopping

If only time spent book shopping was as healthy for the body as time spent working out on one of those ellipticals that are so trendy, I would be stick-thin and incredibly strong.

I did get a bit of a workout carrying a bag of clothing and a stack of books with me as I browsed through Barnes and Nobel today. I’d thought they’d be closed (my salon also) but apparently in the last storm the new mall where both business are taking up residence was found to have issues with the roof leaking.

Oh, dear.

So they’re not moving til the end of the month.

Which worked well for me.

I ended up only buying one book, The Maidenstone Lighthouse, by Sally Smith O’Rourke, which is technically a romance, but seemed just the beachy comfort novel I need this weekend as hormones take over my life.

I also bought the latest issue of Bust and The Writer.

And now that I’ve mentioned them here, they’re deductible.

Spiffy no?

The book will be reviewed here in a few days.
