See, this is where I hang my head in ignorant shame. I THOUGHT you had mentioned you were launching this site a while back. But I couldn't find the reference in my e-mail, and my blog/comment archives aren't as easily searchable as my e-mail.

So if you told me that you had launched this site and it didn't register in my feeble, overworked brain, I'm so sorry.

I really need to get more sleep so my brain doesn't turn into an even bigger sieve than it is.

I've got a blogging-business question for you. Are you around later this week for about, oh, 10 minutes? Need to pick your blogger's brain.

Thx!

I think it's great that your family members & friends are avid readers. Although mine don't read as much as I do, but I'm glad there's internet and bookblogs around! :D

Happy reading!

Hi Melissa. Saw your link on Michele's and followed it home. Lucky me!

When I saw this story last week, I felt a chill descend to the base of my spine. The society that walks away from its literacy is a society that is on the verge of a frightening descent.

Books ignited my fire to become a writer. They continue to inspire me to advance the state of my own art, to build a greater legacy than I could have ever imagined when I first started to study the craft in university.

I can't wait to read more of your work.
